CODE Racing Development is an eclectic and competitive young professional motorsport team. It is headed by Pierre Comby, 38, a graduate of L’École de la Performance, a French school specialising in training for careers in the motorsport industry.

As Chief Mechanic, he participated for seven seasons in the HEXIS Racing Aston Martin Racing team adventure, marked by the FIA GT1 World Championship and FIA GT3 European Championship titles. He also shared two World Championship runner-up titles, including one with the HEXIS Racing McLaren team. Pierre Comby then created PITO Engineering, a company specialising in engine mapping and engine-chassis tuning that continues to enjoy great success.

CODE Racing Development was born during the winter of 2017/2018. It quickly made a name for itself by winning on both racetracks and rally roads. It thus had the honour of being the first team to achieve three outright wins with all three competition versions of the Alpine A110. These successes took place at the Antibes Côte d’Azur Rally as part of the 2021 French Rally Championship, in the Spa-Francorchamps round of the GT4 European Series 2022, and at an Alpine Elf Europa Cup event in Dijon in 2023.

These achievements have enabled the team based in Périgueux, France, to forge strong links with the famous French manufacturer. But by extending its ambitions into GT3, the top-tier Grand Touring category, CODE Racing Development has entered into a partnership with Aston Martin Racing, which has already resulted in a victory in the Michelin Le Mans Cup!

CODE Racing Development will continue to work with Alpine, Aston Martin and other prestigious brands, as it has decided to add a Classic programme to its sporting activities, in response to the creation of exciting new championships in this rapidly growing racing scene.
